Osaka 2025

I am honored to present my artwork, Échos Sous Les Vagues, created with ink and watercolor on paper, as part of OASIS at Expo 2025 Osaka. This exhibition envisions the future, where water plays a vital role as a source of life, a connector of cultures, and a witness to climate change. By immersing Monaco’s Japanese Garden beneath the sea, my work reflects on our evolving relationship with nature, inviting us to see water not as a barrier, but as a bridge to a more harmonious world.

Beneath a silent sea, Monaco is transforming. The Japanese Garden, a jewel of the Principality, flourishes underwater, gently swayed by the current. In the background, mountains and buildings blend into the waves, reminding us of our world’s fragility in the face of climate change.

Two fish—the Mediterranean Rainbow Wrasse and the Japanese Red Fantail Goldfish—swim freely, symbolizing the connection between these two territories united by water. In this submerged landscape, nature and urbanism coexist, creating a space suspended in time where boundaries fade. Water does not separate; it connects.

Between wonder and reflection, Échos Sous Les Vagues invites us to contemplate the beauty of these places and to envision a future where harmony between nature and civilization becomes essential.
